Andrea Sherman
Andrea Langley Sherman, has been working with local businesses and individuals for over 17 years in the Supplemental Insurance side of the industry with the leading Supplemental Insurance Carrier.
Andrea was born and raised in Virginia Beach. She is a proud graduate of Frank W Cox High School and Old Dominion University with a bachelor’s in business management. Her career journey began in the restaurant industry during college, and in 2007, she made a significant shift to join Aflac.
Passionate about the insurance industry, she has dedicated herself to a fulfilling career, spending the majority of her time in various management roles at Aflac. This journey has not only allowed her to excel in providing exceptional service to clients but has also led to numerous awards and recognition.
Andrea proudly serves as an Ambassador for both the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and
Hampton Roads Networking Group (HRNG). As an Ambassador she is dedicated to fostering strong
connections within the community and welcoming new businesses into the vibrant network. These
roles allow her to contribute to the growth and collaboration among local businesses.
She has been married to Richard since 2013, and are the parents of two lab mutts, Riggins and Ovi.
Andrea is passionate about exploring the world, with favorite destinations including St. John, Grand Cayman, Egypt, Alaska, Ireland, and the Mediterranean.
Andrea cherishes spending time with her nephews, particularly cheering them on in their sporting
endeavors. In her spare time, she loves watching sports, passionately supporting all Washington sports
teams, and enjoying live music events.
